Hi, I’m Ciara — the heart behind Meli & Olive

I’m a creative at heart, a lover of words and paper, and someone who can get far too excited about a pretty sticker, a good notebook, or a tiny idea that I absolutely have to make. Creating has always been one of the ways I express myself. I love writing. I love making things with my hands. I love taking an ordinary little idea and giving it a life of its own. Meli & Olive began in 2021 when I decided to take a chance on that part of myself. With a laptop, a Cricut gifted to me by my dad, a trusty printer, and a little corner in my bedroom, I opened my shop and started making stickers. Those stickers became the beginning of something I never expected to love quite so much. They’re still at the heart of Meli & Olive today — and as I continue growing the shop, I’m dreaming up more ways to create and share: stationery, bookmarks, writing, happy mail, and plenty of ideas that are still living in my notebook. I don’t have every part of the journey figured out. But I do know that I want to keep creating, keep growing, and keep building something that reflects what matters most to me. And through all of it, I want what I create to mean more than simply being pretty. I want it to point somewhere. More specifically, to Him.
